Abuja Blockchain Conference (Oct 4–5, 2019)
This conference successfully promoted Blockchain and crypto currency awareness with both local and international speakers and industry experts in attendance. The Kudi COO, Germaine Ifudu, was one of the distinguished speakers. There were several exhibitors showcasing innovative products utilizing Blockchain technology. The Kudi app was successfully exhibited to thousands of attendees at the event.
During the networking dinner on Oct 4th 2019, the savings feature of the Kudi app was demonstrated to guests. Kudi users received a 50% discount off the ticket price of the networking event. Overall feedback was positive leading to over 200 new downloads, a viable boost to the number of users within the Kudi ecosystem.
Merchant Sign-ups
The Point of Sale (POS) update released last month has been positively received by merchant users (details here). Shortly after the conference in Abuja, the team installed and conducted training for ten more high profile merchants.

Announced by the CEO, Emeka Enu, on Oct 16 2019 in the Kudi telegram group, the Kudi team has successfully unveiled their exciting discount feature available to Kudi app users. Nigeria Fintech Week Conference (Oct 28-Nov 1, 2019)
The team participated in the Nigeria Fintech event where the product was on full display and several attendees were given a live demo of some of the multiple features within the app. Excellent feedback has been received so far with new sign-ups, application downloads, and increased membership to the Kudi telegram group. Fintech has gained prominence in the African continent by becoming a major force to be reckoned with in financial service delivery globally.
The Nigeria Fintech week attracted thousands of local and international financial technology innovators and key stakeholders within the industry to convene and discuss the sustaining factors in surviving with Fintech innovation and startups. Software Updates
There were a couple of software updates for the Kudi app on the google platform to accommodate the growing demand for businesses using the POS feature. Enhancements and updates are being deployed on an ongoing basis based on feedback from business users.
